+ This morning at Parish Communion we will bless some knitted angels which you are welcome to take home, or give to a friend. Tonight at 5.00 pm Poulton Methodist Church will host a Special Service to bless angels which will be left across town overnight, for children and others to collect tomorrow morning.

+ This afternoon at 4.00 pm St.Anne’s Church Singleton will hold their Carol Service with music by the Occasional Singers and contributions from the Handbell Ringers. All are most welcome to this Service, which will be followed by refreshments.
+ On Monday at 7.00 pm we will welcome the Junior Children from Poulton CE School for their Carol Service.
+ On Wednesday at 7.30 pm Blackpool Sixth Form College will hold their Carol Service in St.Chad’s.
Parishioners are most welcome to either of these services.
+ On Friday at 7.30 pm St.Martin’s and St.Hilda’s will hold their Carol Service which will be followed by refreshments. All welcome.
+ Next Sunday at 6.30 pm we will hold our own Service of Lessons and Carols at St.Chad’s, with music, readings and a candlelight procession.
* At the back of church you will find leaflets about the Church of England Christmas campaign: Follow the Star, together with the free leaflet Inspire and sheets giving details of all our Christmas Services.
*Also at the back of church we have a regularly changing display about the charities and mission agencies that we support. We are currently focussing on the Barnabus Fund.
* Please try not to leave Christmas cards at the back of church.
* Please bring any unwanted bras in a bag and leave at the back of St. Chad's. These will be given to young women living in Southern Africa.

Christmas Services

Christmas Eve 5.30 pm Crib Service:
A retelling of the Christmas story ideal for children and families.

11.30 pm Midnight Eucharist:
This year for the first time we will be joined by our friends from Poulton Methodist Church and Revd Paul Critchley will be our preacher.

Christmas Day 8.00 am Holy Communion

10.30 am Family Communion:
Children are encouraged to bring along a gift they have received.
