+ On Sunday 28th October at 6.30 pm we will hold our autumn Memorial Service at St.Chad’s, to which we invite the families of those who have died over the last year.

* Take a look at the display at the back of church: The “There but not there” initiative is part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armistice at the end of WW1. The project aims to educate this generation about the horrors of war and the sacrifice made and raise monies for those still suffering. The silhouette in church is a reminder of those who paid the ultimate price and leaflets at the back of church explain how you can purchase a smaller table top version to support this worthy cause.
OCTOBRA, NOVEMBRA AND DECEMBRA
Please have rummage at home and see if you can find any bras you no longer need, pop them in a bag and leave at the back of St. Chad's. Unwanted bras are sent on and eventually given to young women living in Southern Africa.
