+ This evening at 6.30 pm we will have a United Evening Communion Service at Poulton Methodist Church. There will be NO EVENING SERVICE at St.Chad’s.

* The final Confirmation Nurture Group will take place on Thursday at 4.00 pm in church.
* Bible Studies will meet on Tuesday at 2.00pm at 89 Rutland Avenue the home of Dorothy Hankey. They will continue to meet weekly until May 21st with exception of May 7th and will consider the theme of ‘Discipleship - learning from the Apostles lives and their teaching.’
+ On Saturday at 10.30am the funeral of Pat Robinson will take place in St.Chad’s.
* Next Saturday at 7.30pm Poulton Band will be in Concert at St.Chad’s. Tickets are available in advance from Connect IT for £8 or at the door for £10. For more information tel 885657
* Please take one of the free Easter Hope magazines featuring uplifting seasonal stories.
* The April Sentinel is available at the back of church.
* Items for the May Sentinel should be at the Vicarage by Tuesday of this week.
* Completed data protection forms should be placed in the box at the back of church. Spare forms are still available.
Dates for Your Diary
* St.Chad’s Vestry Meeting and APCM will take place on Tuesday 24th April at 7.45pm in Church. We will review the events of 2017, receive the Annual Report and Accounts and elect offices for the year ahead. To vote at the meeting parishioners need to be on the Church Electoral Roll. Application forms are available in Church and it is not too late to sign up.
* Mothers' Union are visiting St. John the Baptist Church in Pilling on Wednesday, 25th April to see the beautiful work done on vestments, altar cloths, etc by a skilled group of parishioners. We are travelling by coach, leaving from the Hall on Vicarage Road at 2.00 pm. There will be Afternoon Tea and the cost is £15.00. If you would like to join us please see June Challis or Dorothy Griffith (899602). Thank you.
+ On Sunday 29th April at 10am we will welcome Bishop Julian the Bishop of Blackburn to a Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion Service for candidates from St.Chad’s, St.Hilda’s and St.John’s Little Thornton.
